The best way to get away to Akaroa for a day or two.
Akaroa Shuttle services suspended from 31 March 2020 until further notice.
Journey with Akaroa Shuttle from Christchurch city travelling around and over the picturesque foothills of Banks Peninsula, to the historic French and British settlement of Akaroa. Elevated views of the city as well as bays, estuary and inlets are fantastic visual appetisers for the natural splendour of the Akaroa landscape.
Travel time is approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.

Airport Pick-up (October - April only)
A pre-booked pick-up and drop-off at the Christchurch International Airport is available for $15 per person. The Commodore and Sudima Hotel pick-up and drop-off is $10 per person.

The Akaroa Shuttle can also pick passengers up in Halswell, Tai Tapu and Little River.
Akaroa Departure Location
Akaroa Service departs from outside the Old Post Office, 80 Rue Lavaud, Akaroa.
Please report 10 minutes prior to your departure, the Shuttle departs promptly at the scheduled time.
